Happy & Healthy Kids Need Happy & Healthy Parents: How to feel less stress and anxiety in your daily life
Interested in feeling more peace in your daily life... but don't know where the heck you'll find the time or the money to actually feel calmer and happier? Parents, especially those accustomed to prioritizing the mental, emotional and academic experiences of their children, often find themselves utterly depleted by the end of each day. We know we need to take care of ourselves in order to be the parents and partners we'd like to be, but how the heck is it possible amidst the demands of everyday life? Often, parents find themselves perpetually delaying their emotional needs. This presentation will share a framework (The Five Anxiety Styles) allowing you to create a simpler, more realistic emotional support plan. A plan that is actually be implementable and sustainable - because when your plan is customized to your particular anxiety style, the positive impact of implementation far outweighs the small resource requirements involved. Learn how simple shifts in your daily life can leave you feeling calmer, happier, and more peaceful.
Participants will come away with:
• More patience with yourself and those you love
• More calm and peace in your nervous system
• Better and higher quality sleep
